The lives of 18 school children narrowly escaped on Friday morning in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh. A minor fight between the drivers cost the lives of the children. The children were screaming and shouting inside the van to save their lives, while four miscreants were pelting stones and firing at the van. During the investigation, the police arrested one accused youth, while the search for three others is going on. When SP Kunwar Anupam Singh revealed the matter, it was revealed that the fight between the van driver and the youth had threatened the lives of the children.
The matter is of Gajraula police station area. There is SRS International School in the police station area itself. On Friday morning, the school van driver Monty had gone to pick up the children. There were 18 children up to class four in the van. When he was returning with the children, he met four youths near a culvert on the way. One of these youths was sitting on a bike, while three youths were placing stones on the culvert. When driver Monty asked the youth to remove the stones, the youth riding the bike suddenly fired at his van. After this three other youths pelted stones.
Children started crying after seeing the firing
Driver Monty immediately put the car in back gear and somehow reached the school while avoiding the youth. Seeing all this scene on the way, the children in the van started crying and shouting, please save, please save. On reaching the school, after hearing the crying of the children, all the teachers and the principal came out and took information about the incident. Driver Monty told the whole story to the principal.

SP Kunwar Anupam Singh disclosed the matter
The principal immediately informed the Gajraula police station about the incident. On receiving the information, the police station incharge reached the spot with the police team. As soon as information about firing on the school van was received, SP Kunwar Anupam Singh also reached the spot. During police interrogation, driver Monty initially denied having any kind of dispute with the youth, but later revealed the entire truth to the police.
The driver had a clash with the youth four days ago
SP Kunwar Anupam Singh said that four days ago a scooty had collided with a school van. During this time there was an argument between the young man riding the scooter and the driver Monty. At that time the people present there had resolved the dispute among themselves, but the young man riding the scooter was bent upon taking revenge. SP Kunwar Anupam Singh said that on Friday morning, a youth riding a scooter, along with his three companions, fired and pelted stones at the school van.

Driver Monty identified one of the accused youths. The accused youth is Anuj Singh, son of Pehalwan Singh, resident of Nagla. Police have registered a case in the case on the complaint of driver Monty. One accused has been arrested.
