Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [भारत]July 12 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the new vegetable sub-yard during the Amrit Mahotsav of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) at Dahegam in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar district on July 13, according to a release.
Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Prosperity through Cooperation” and led by Union Minister Amit Shah, the sector is reportedly achieving important milestones in ensuring the welfare of farmers. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Dahegam APMC Chairman Sumeru Amin, cooperative representatives, APMC members and many others will also be present on the occasion.
During the event, Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will plant a sapling under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign and inaugurate the new vegetable sub-yard developed by APMC. Amit Shah will also release a commemorative publication prepared to commemorate the Amrit Mahotsav of APMC. During the programme, he will interact with Dahegam APMC Board members.
Inauguration and foundation stone of projects worth Rs 405 crore in Ahmedabad
Earlier today, Amit Shah led the mass plantation of about 1.25 crore trees under the ‘Mission Five Million Trees’ campaign of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various people-oriented development projects worth about Rs 405 crore jointly undertaken by the AMC, Auda and the Roads and Buildings Department.
According to a press release issued by Gujarat CMO, the event held in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi at Science City also inaugurated 101 oxygen parks and 155 AC electric BRTS – AMTS buses in Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency.
Addressing the gathering, Shah said that an unprecedented ‘mass campaign’ has been launched in Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency and Ahmedabad city for environmental protection and protection of the earth. (ANI)
