Once again grabbing major eyeballs on X, the actress has stirred up a Gadar with her posts. in the wee hours of Saturday, took to social media to slam Bollywood’s fake PR machinery. She lashed out at actresses allegedly trying to buy the “number 1” tag and reminded everyone what truly makes a superstar heroine. The actress also lambasted YouTubers spreading negativity against the Hindi film industry.
claimed that several actresses, who (according to her) have not even delivered a single Rs 200 crore project, are paying their PR teams to call them the top stars. She further remarked that it is 2026 and not 2000, adding that earning Rs 100 crore today is no longer considered a big achievement.
“Call ur self a super star only if u have achieved any sort of work that creates history and havoc at the box office. Until then, stop playing PR games to cal urself a superstar, sorry, but that’s the harsh reality,” she added in a follow-up tweet.

The Humraaz actress also claimed that these actresses are calling themselves stars merely by doing a few average films every year and being part of projects. She stated that one should call themselves a superstar only after achieving work that creates history and massive box office success.

It is currently unclear whom she was referring to, as she did not mention any names. But, Patel said that actors should not feel upset by negative YouTubers who constantly criticise Bollywood. She added that such creators earn their livelihood by talking about celebrities.
Ameesha also expressed confidence about Gadar 3. It would create a huge stir in theatres whenever it releases and Rs 500 crore would only be the minimum box office target, added the actress.
