A strange case has come to light from Gorakhpur. Here a teacher was put on duty in the Lok Sabha elections even after his death. The name of the dead teacher was sent in the list. After this, when the name of the teacher appeared in the absent list during the training for the elections, the Basic Education Officer filed a case against him in the Cantt police station of Gorakhpur.
When the family members of the deceased teacher came to know about the case being registered against him, they went to the police station and started visiting the BSA office. The deceased teacher was posted as an assistant in Composite School Retawahia under Chargaon, Gorakhpur. The deceased teacher Vijay Shankar was suffering from liver cancer and was undergoing treatment at Medanta, Lucknow.

In this case, BSA Ravindra Pratap Singh said that the names of teachers uploaded on NRC have been picked up for duty in the Lok Sabha elections. It was not updated since February. In such a situation, if a case has been filed against the deceased teacher and disabled teachers, then it will be corrected.
A person with disability due to both eyes was also put on duty
Divyang Praveen Kumar Yadav was also put on election duty. While the disability certificate of the Divyang is deposited with the department. He is disabled in both eyes. Even after the education department was aware of this, his duty was put on the first polling officer. But due to being disabled, he did not attend the training, so the education department filed a case against him in the Cantt police station. At present, the investigation is going on.
