There is a student in the Law College in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan whose age is not 20-22 years but 81 years. Yes, you heard it right. Sarpal Singh Arora, resident of Pratapnagar, Chittorgarh, is the only person who is studying law at this age. According to him, hobbies are necessary to stay alive. That’s why he has made studies his hobby. He is studying in law college along with children of his grandson’s age. Everyone is praising his passion.
Sarpal Singh Arora tells that he wanted to do law but his BA marks were low and hence he was not getting admission in law. Then first he filled the MA form. Sarpal has passed MA with first division. After this he took admission in law college. When he reached the Law College on Dhanet Marg for admission, there was a stir among the entire college staff. Everyone started talking about his age. But, when Principal SD Vyas talked to Sarpal, he was convinced of his passion. He saw the eagerness to learn in Sarpal.
Sarpal Singh is more regular in his classes than other students and is learning about law regularly. While with increasing age, both education and hobbies go away from a person’s life, in such a situation, everyone in the law college is praising Sarpal’s passion. Regarding this, Sarpal says that after doing LLB, he is going to do PhD. In his personal life, he is associated with the sale of engineering parts. His grandchildren’s education has also been completed.
Saw college after 40 years
81 year old Sarpal tells that he was born on 3 February 1945, he gave BA examination in 1972 but failed in one subject. After 10 years, he completed BA by giving examination in that subject. Now after 40 years, he has come back to college to do law. Sarpal also tells that his land case is going on which he will fight himself after completing LLB.
