A horrific road accident has occurred in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The bus hit a truck hard on the Yamuna Expressway. In this accident, 5 passengers on the bus died tragically, while more than 15 people are said to be injured. Police reached the spot on information. The police removed the injured from the bus and admitted them to the local hospital.
This accident happened late at night. A double-decker private bus going from Delhi to Mau, said to be of Krishna Travels of Ayodhya, collided from behind with a scrap truck filled with beer bottles on Yamuna Expressway number 56 near Aligarh. The accident was so severe that the bus was blown to pieces. The five people who died in this accident include a five-month-old child, a woman and three men. Three of the dead have been identified, while two have not been identified yet.
15 people have been injured in this accident, which include an 11-month-old baby, a little girl, a five-year-old child, three women and nine men. After the accident, the people traveling in the bus broke the windows and came out. Due to the accident, many bodies were left trapped inside the bus. As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot and conducted a rescue operation and took out all the injured from the bus.
The police have admitted all the injured to Kailash Hospital in Jewar. The bodies of the deceased have been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. According to preliminary information, the main cause of the accident is considered to be speeding and carelessness. This double decker bus had left from Delhi for Mau carrying passengers. Passengers say that the bus driver was driving very fast and could not apply brakes in time after seeing the truck in front. An official said that the families of the deceased are being informed.
