This action thriller starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari had flopped so much on Monday that it could not even touch the Rs 4 crore mark. According to preliminary data from SACNL, ‘Alpha’ made a net collection of Rs 3.85 crore in India on the first Monday. This is the lowest single day collection of the film till date. With this, the film’s India net collection in four days reached Rs 37.85 crore. The film opened with Rs 9.25 crore on the first day. There was a jump on the second day and the earning was Rs 11.50 crore. On Sunday, the film performed even better and made a business of Rs 13.25 crore. However, on Monday, the effect of normal working day was clearly visible and a big decline was recorded in the collection.

‘Alpha’, directed by Shiv Rawail, earned Rs 1.50 crore in overseas markets on the fourth day, taking the gross collection of the film in the overseas market to Rs 18.30 crore.
