Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s film ‘Raavan’, released in 2010, is still remembered for its powerful visuals and dangerous action sequences. A stunt was shown in the climax of the film which left the audience breathless. However, now a shocking revelation related to this scene has come to light. Her stunt double Sanober Pardiwalla, who did this stunt for Aishwarya Rai in the film, told that due to a technical glitch during the shooting, her life was in danger and she remained hanging in the air between a 150 feet high rock for about 30 minutes.
How did the 150 feet jump scene go wrong?
Sanobar remembered that horrifying moment by sharing a behind-the-scenes video of the shooting of ‘Raavan’ on his Instagram account. He told that this stunt was a 3.5 second jump from a cliff about 150 feet high, but during the shooting suddenly such a technical problem arose which no one had even imagined. She wrote that due to this sudden disturbance she remained suspended in the middle of the rock for about 30 minutes. This was one of the most challenging stunts of his career.

Aishwarya Rai’s body double shares stunt experience
Sanobar said that doing stunts is not limited to just completing action scenes, but the real test comes when something unexpected happens during the shooting. According to him, at such times it is most important to keep yourself calm instead of getting nervous. In ‘Raavan’, directed by Mani Ratnam, actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Vikram, Priyamani and Ravi Kishan were seen in important roles along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The music of the film was composed by A.R. Rahman had prepared it. This film was released in both Hindi and Tamil languages.
