Agra: 'Don't hold this exhibition brother', martyr's mother said while crying at the minister's photoshoot.

Captain Shubham Gupta of Agra was martyred while fighting terrorists in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. There is an atmosphere of sorrow in Tajnagar due to his martyrdom. Tajnagar residents are reaching Shubham Gupta’s house and consoling his parents. Martyr Captain’s mother is in bad condition and crying. On one hand, they are proud of their son for sacrificing his life for the country, while on the other hand, they are saddened by his son’s departure from this world. Yogi government also paid tribute to the martyrdom of Captain. He also said that financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh will be given to the family members, a job will be given to a member of the family and a road in Agra will be named after the martyr.

However, a controversy has arisen amid these announcements of the government. In fact, Yogendra Upadhyay, cabinet minister in the Yogi government, along with his supporters had gone to the Captain’s house to pay homage and hand over a check of Rs 50 lakh. When he was handing over the check to the Captain’s mother, it was being photographed. Meanwhile, the upset Captain’s mother cried and told the Minister, ‘Don’t hold this exhibition brother’.

SP targeted BJP

Someone made a video of this and made it viral on social media. As soon as the video went viral, SP tweeted it from its X handle and wrote, “On the insensitivity of BJP, a mother said, ‘Don’t hold this exhibition brother’! BJP government ministers are conducting photoshoots in the name of giving a check to the family of Captain Shubham Gupta of Agra, who was martyred yesterday. This is an insult to the tears of a crying mother. BJP people did not desist from doing politics even in the name of martyrs, shameful!”
