Rahul Dravid: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, one of the most successful fast bowlers of Team India, is once again facing neglect from the team management.
Before this, when Rahul Dravid was the coach, Bhuvneshwar did not get a place in the team despite performing well. Now that there has been a change in the team management and Gautam Gambhir has become the head coach, still Bhuvneshwar is not getting a chance in the team.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is out of action after 2022
Let us tell you that Bhuvneshwar was dropped from the team after the 2022 T20 World Cup, after which he has not been able to return to the team. Bhuvneshwar’s performance in the 2022 T20 World Cup was mixed but since then he was dropped from the team. His performance in the IPL since then has not been very good, due to which he has not been able to return to the team.
Such was the performance in Bhubaneswar 2022
Bhuvneshwar last played a match for Team India in the year 2022. In which he bowled in 32 T20 matches played that year at an average of 19.56 and strike rate of 16.8 and economy of less than 7, even after which he was dropped from the team. Although in the T20 World Cup he was not able to take wickets the way he used to, but his economy in that World Cup was quite good. He took 4 wickets in 6 matches at an economy of around 6.
Bhuvneshwar’s IPL was dull
Now it seems difficult for Bhuvneshwar to return to Team India. The team management wants to give a chance to young bowlers in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. However, if Bhuvneshwar continues to perform well domestically and in the IPL, he may get a chance for Team India.
This has been Bhuvneshwar’s international career
Bhuvneshwar has taken 63 wickets in 21 Test matches, which included 5 wicket hauls 4 times. In ODI, Bhuvi has taken 141 wickets in 121 matches. In which he has taken five wickets once. Whereas Bhuvneshwar has taken 90 wickets in 87 T20 matches. In which he has taken five wickets twice.
