Maharashtra TET Paper Leak: The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to be held on June 28 in Maharashtra has been canceled after the paper was leaked. Police in Bhiwandi have made shocking revelations.
Mumbai (Maharashtra): Maharashtra has fallen victim to another exam paper leak. Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) has postponed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) scheduled to be held on June 28. This decision was taken after an alleged question paper leak case came to light in Bhiwandi. This examination was to be held at 1,028 centers across Maharashtra.
Connection to TET paper leak found in Bhiwandi
- MSCE issued a public notice stating that in view of the irregularities in the NEET 2026 exam, they had already taken all necessary security measures. But an intelligence received on Saturday morning revealed that some people in Bhiwandi have information related to TET question paper.
- According to the council, Bhiwandi police raided the place. During investigation, the police found that many of the questions given in an illegal question paper matched those in the genuine TET exam paper.
- The statement said that Bhiwandi Police has registered a case against the people involved in this matter.
Paper leaked before the exam?
“In view of this situation, the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) scheduled to be held on June 28, 2026, has been postponed. A detailed investigation into the matter has also been ordered,” the council said. He also informed that further information related to the examination will be given on the official website of the Council.
