On January 20, a 50-year-old e-rickshaw driver was brutally murdered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Then the accused youth kept roaming on the road with his body tied to a bike. The police had then arrested two accused. While the third accused who hatched the conspiracy was arrested 10 days later. Now Noida Police has taken major action in this case. National Security Act (NSA) is being imposed on three accused.
Regarding this, the police has already filed a charge sheet in the court, in which it was told that Mehndi Hasan was murdered due to personal enmity. Two youths had a direct role in the murder. While another has been accused of plotting the conspiracy. The case is of Barola village of Police Station Sector-49 area.
The chargesheet is about 100 pages long. After filing the chargesheet, the police is now taking NSA action against the accused. Due to an old rivalry, Anuj and Nitin stabbed 50-year-old e-rickshaw driver Mehndi Hasan to death in Baraula village. The incident took place on 20 January 2024. After the murder, both the accused tied Mehndi Hasan to a bike and reached Baraula police station. Everyone on the roads through which the accused passed was terrified and there was panic in the police department. The force of many police stations was immediately sent to Baraula station. The entire incident was also captured on CCTV cameras.
Both the accused were shot during the encounter
The police then arrested both the accused. The next morning, when the police were going to recover the knife used by the two accused in the murder, both of them attacked the police team. In the retaliatory action, both the accused were injured in the encounter. Another accused was arrested by the police about ten days later on charges of conspiracy.
There was a rivalry since 2018
In the year 2018, Mehndi Hasan stabbed Anuj’s father and injured him. After this, a case was registered against Mehndi Hasan in the local police station. Since then, Anuj had a grudge against Mehndi Hasan. There was a lot of argument between Mehndi Hasan and Anuj in the court. There was a tension between the two regarding this. After this, in January, when Anuj and his cousin got a chance, both of them stabbed Mehndi Hasan to death.
