Virat Kohli said goodbye to T20 cricket
Virat Kohli gave a big shock to all his fans yesterday. Actually, the 35-year-old player has retired from T20 cricket. He will now be seen playing only ODI and Test cricket. Making this big announcement during the post-match show, he said,
“This is the milestone we wanted to reach. One day you struggle to score every run, and one day you play an innings like this. God is great. It was a now or never situation. This was my last T20 match for India. We wanted to lift that cup.”
He further said in his statement,
“It was already obvious that this was going to be my last T20 match. It was not something I was going to announce even if we lost. Now it is time for the next generation to take T20 cricket forward and create wonders like we have seen them do in the IPL. I have no doubt that they will keep the flag high and take this team forward from here.”

Doors open for these two young players
Two young players did not get a chance in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. These two names were Rinku Singh and Tilak Verma. Rinku Singh’s name was as a reserve player.
