In Delhi, DPS and other big schools were threatened with a bomb through an e-mail, after which there was an atmosphere of chaos in the entire city. According to the information, on Wednesday morning, threats to bomb the schools were sent through e-mails to more than 60 schools in Delhi. After which the police was immediately called and informed about the matter. Similarly, news is also coming out from Lucknow where similar e-mails have been sent to many schools threatening to blow them up with bombs. After receiving information about the threat, the police reached those schools and started a search operation.
Children have been taken out from Amity School in Vrindavan area of Lucknow. Police force and fire brigade personnel have reached the spot. The children have been taken out safely and sent home. After this the forces reached inside the school and started the search operation. In Delhi, the police showed promptness and conducted search operations in all the schools where the news of the bomb had spread.
More than 100 schools received threats
On Wednesday morning in Delhi, more than 100 schools including DPS Dwarka and DPS Noida received a bomb threat e-mail, after which children were dismissed from all the schools. Information was also given to the parents of the children by the principal. Emergency has been mentioned in the information. At the same time, parents who drop their children to school privately were also called to pick up their children. However, several police teams remained busy in the investigation till afternoon and later the police clarified that the threatening email was a rumor which was sent to spoil the atmosphere.
