New series engine, hybrid function
In the new Hybrid Maruti Dzire, the company has given a new 1.2-liter Z12e 3-cylinder petrol engine. It will replace her K-series engine, which has been used in Maruti cars for a long time. The new engine will generate 80 bhp power and 112 Nm peak torque.
Along with this, the car has a 0.072 kwh battery pack and electric motor, whose power is 2.93 bhp. This total will act like a 12 -volt smart hybrid system. Due to this, the mileage of the car will increase tremendously. However, the company has not yet given its official mileage details.
Along with making this car hybrid, some changes have been made in it. For example, this new car will come with CVT transmission, while in India, Maruti Suzuki only sells the cars of AMT transmission. Safety standard has also been kept high in this car.
Features of Hybrid Desire
If we talk about the features of Hybrid Dzire, then it has been given sharp grill and sporty look at the front. Dual tone color theme has been used in the interior of the car. At the same time, LED tail and head lamps, AC vents have also been given on the back seat.
The price of this car in the Philippines is 9.20 lakh Philippine Peso, which is equivalent to about Rs 13.9 lakh in India.
