MP News: Will the NEET exam of June 21 be completely transparent? Have foolproof security arrangements been made at the 283 examination centres? Will the candidates not face any problem between Yoga Day and the President’s visit? Will biometrics, CCTV and jammers be installed on time? Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave strict instructions to the officials regarding NEET UG 2026 in Madhya Pradesh.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav took a detailed review of the preparations for NEET (UG) examination 2026 through video conferencing from the Ministry on Monday, June 16. This important examination to be conducted at the national level will be conducted on June 21 at various examination centers in the state.
In the review meeting, the Chief Minister instructed the officials that all the arrangements related to the examination should be completed before the stipulated time. He said that the examination should be conducted with complete transparency, better management and high level of efficiency. There should be no scope for negligence, error or disorganization at any level.
NEET Exam Security Arrangement: Biometric, CCTV and jammer will be installed by June 19
The Chief Minister directed the Higher Education Department to install biometric machines, CCTV cameras and jammers at all the examination centers by June 19. Also, a trial run of all these equipment should also be conducted on June 20, so that no technical problem arises on the day of examination.
He told that the President’s visit to Jabalpur is proposed on June 21. NEET exam will be conducted at 24 examination centers in the city. In such a situation, instructions have been given to the administration and police department to ensure special traffic management, so that no candidate faces any problem in reaching the examination centre.
International Yoga Day and NEET Exam: Candidates should not face any problem
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that International Yoga Day programs will also be organized on the day of the examination. In such a situation, the district administration should ensure that the movement of candidates is not affected due to these events. He instructed the officials that all the candidates should reach their examination centers before time. If any student faces transportation related problems, the administration and police should provide necessary support. If necessary, arrangements should be made to take students to the examination center by government vehicle or vehicles of officials.
NEET UG 2026 SOP: Now the system will be applicable in other examinations of the state also
The Chief Minister said that if the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) prepared for the NEET examination proves to be effective, it will be implemented in other competitive and educational examinations of the state in future. Collectors, Superintendents of Police, Police Commissioners and concerned officers of all the districts having examination centers participated in the video conferencing and presented information about the preparations so far.
NEET 2026 Committee Formation: Coordination committees formed at district level
Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education and Public Relations Anupam Rajan said that for the successful conduct of the examination, coordination committees have been formed in all the districts and their meetings have been organized. Apart from this, control rooms have been set up and district nodal officers have also been appointed. A nodal officer will be deployed at every three to four examination centres. Assistant Sub Inspector level police officers have also been appointed at all the examination centres. Besides, Sector Magistrates and Duty Magistrates have been deployed in the respective districts.
NEET UG 2026 Question Paper Security: Question papers delivered by Air Force and helicopter
Additional Chief Secretary informed that the examination question papers have been transported safely through five airports of the state. These have been kept safe in two banks notified by NTA. In Balaghat district, question papers have been supplied through helicopters. The district administration will arrange vehicles for safe transportation of question papers on the examination day and information about the same is being made available to NTA.
Two Layer Security System: There will be double security at the examination centers
During the NEET exam, two-level security arrangements will be in place at all the centres. The responsibility of external security will be with the state police and home guards, while internal security will be handled by an agency appointed by the NTA. Separate frisking arrangements will be made for the convenience of women candidates. For this, deployment of adequate number of women police personnel has also been ensured.
NEET Exam Facilities: Provision of drinking water, health services and cloak room
Extensive arrangements are being made at the examination centers for the convenience of the candidates. Provision of generators, adequate lighting and smoothly operating fans will be mandatory at all centres. Apart from this, availability of clean drinking water, separate toilets, ORS, glucose, first aid kit and health workers will be ensured. A team of doctors and paramedical staff will also be deployed in the control room. Tents, mobile toilets and waiting arrangements will also be made for the parents and family members accompanying the candidates. Cloak room facility will be available at every examination centre.

NEET (UG) examination 2026 will be conducted at 283 examination centers located in 30 districts of Madhya Pradesh. These include Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Sagar, Chhindwara, Betul, Bhind, Balaghat, Ashoknagar, Chhatarpur, Ratlam, Barwani, Khargone, Dhar, Khandwa, Narmadapuram, Damoh, Datia, Dewas, Guna, Mandsaur, Morena, Neemuch, Rajgarh, Singrauli, Vidisha and Satna.
