In such a situation, considering the date of birth Monthly Durga Ashtami of Jyeshtha Adhikamas will be celebrated tomorrow on 23rd May, Saturday and the fast will also be observed tomorrow itself.
Monthly Durga Ashtami Auspicious time(Adhik Mass Masik Durga Ashtami 2026 Subh Muhurat)
- Brahma Muhurta on the day of monthly Durga Ashtami – will be from 04:23 AM to 05:08 AM.
- Abhijit Muhurta- It will be from 11:51 AM to 12:42 PM.
- Twilight time – It will last from 06:39 pm to 07:01 pm.

Worship method of monthly Durga Ashtami (Monthly Durga Ashtami Puja Vidhi)
- On the day of monthly Durga Ashtami, take bath in the morning and wear clean clothes.
- After this, take a pledge to fast while meditating on Goddess Durga.
- Then clean the temple and place a post there.
- Spread a clean red cloth on one of the posts.
- After this, place the idol or picture of Mata Durga on the post.
- In the puja, offer sixteen makeup ingredients, red chunari, red colored flowers etc. to the mother.
- Read the fast story.
- Be sure to chant the mantras of Maa Durga.
- At the end, perform aarti of Maa Durga and distribute prasad.
