What is the exact date of Adhik Maas Purnima?
According to the Panchang, the full moon date of Jyeshtha Adhik Maas will start from 11:57 am on Saturday, May 30, and will continue till 2:14 pm on the next day i.e. Sunday, May 31. That means, there is a coincidence of Purnima Tithi on both the days. According to Astrologer Pt. Praveen Dwivedi, since the moonrise of Purnima Tithi will be on Saturday, May 30, hence the Purnima fast of Adhik Maas will be observed on the same day.
