The Adani Group has decided to withdraw from two wind power projects in Sri Lanka. The company has given this information to a government agency in Sri Lanka. Last month, the Sri Lankan government had said that it is starting talks with Adani Group to reduce the price of electricity. The total cost of these projects is around $ 1 billion.

The company said that the Sri Lankan government has formed a new committee which will re -talk on these projects. After this, the Adani Group has decided to withdraw from this project in its company’s board meeting. The Board of Investments of Sri Lanka refused to give clarification on it. In such a situation, no further information has been given by Adani Group.

In fact, the founder of Adani Group Gautam Adani and other officials were accused by US officials in November that they had bribed the Indian power supply contracts.
