Actor Margot Robbie and her husband, producer-actor Tom Ackerley, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. According to a report by the Daily Mail , the couple’s son was born on October 17, earlier than expected.
It was being said that the 34-year-old Australian actor went into labour two weeks ago, slightly ahead of her due date. The family is reportedly doing well, and both sets of grandparents are expected to visit Los Angeles soon to meet their grandson.
The couple, as well as their close friends, have stayed tight-lipped about the news so far. However, speculations started doing the rounds after Tom Ackerley was shopping for baby supplies near their home at Venice Beach.
have been together since 2013, when they met on the set of the film Suite Francaise. The couple got married in a private ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia, in December 2016.
On the work front, Margot will soon team up with Jacob Elordi in Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights. The movie, produced by MRC and LuckyChap, will start its UK pre-production in 2025, with Margot playing Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob as Heathcliff. Besides this, her upcoming film, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, is set for release in May next year.
