Actor, 51, played actress’ father in a blockbuster show, was then accused by her of harassment, the actress was…

Stranger Things is one of the most popular shows worldwide and gave the best on-screen father-daughter relationship to the viewers. We are talking about David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown, who played Jim Hopper and Eleven in the series and had a loving relationship. Before the premiere of Stranger Things Season 5, it was also rumoured that Millie filed a harassment complaint against Harbour, coming as a shock to many.

What did David Harbour say about harassment allegations?

David Harbour expressed his shock about the accusations and said that the supposed fallout was fuelled by tabloid sensationalism rather than reality.

While talking about the accusations, Harbour said, “In this weird world we live in, where sound bites will be created, I’m trying to figure out how to say this…It’s a show that went on for 10 years. We worked together for 10 years during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter. I don’t know if people have families and friends that you spend a lot of time with for 10 years — you occasionally get in arguments, disagreements.”

He further revealed that he had a breakdown after reading the allegations and questioned the timing of the story. This is in regard to the controversy surrounding his ex-wife, Lily Allen.

“It was just a simple rupture-and-repair thing that, once we cleared everybody out of the way and talked to each other, we’re fine. Everyone nowadays is very scared of talking about things. People are very scared of being human. It’s unfortunate, because I don’t know how to navigate this weird media world. But it was completely normal, and we adore each other and always have,” he added.

The actor further revealed that he and Millie will further collaborate on several projects. On the work front, Millie Bobby Brown will next appear in the Netflix film ‘Enola Holmes 3’.
