CID is set to make its much-anticipated return to the small screen this Christmas. The news comes after Sony Entertainment Network released a teaser featuring Shivaji Satam in his famous role as ACP Pradyuman, sparking excitement among fans.
According to sources, the new season of CID will begin filming in Mumbai in November, with the series expected to premiere during the holiday season.
As per a report by Pinkvilla, the makers have been listening closely to public demand for the return of the long-running detective show. After working on multiple scripts to ensure the perfect comeback, the team is now gearing up to bring back the beloved trio-ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam), Inspector Daya (Dayanand Shetty) and Inspector Abhijit (Aditya Shrivastava). The cast was reportedly thrilled to hear the script and is excited to return to the sets after a six-year hiatus. A new promo will drop on October 26, 2024, as posted on SONY LIV’s official X account.
