However, companies are still thinking of increasing the prices of AC. Due to weather forecasts, indication of scorching heat has been given in the coming days. Due to which the demand for AC may increase and the price is also likely to increase.
AC prices of these companies will affect
According to the PTI report, AC companies like Blue Star, Samsung and Haier can increase prices up to 5 percent from April. Apart from this, the room AC industry still takes the essential parts from China like compressor, PCB and fan motor. All these companies are dependent on China for these parts. At the same time, the tariff in America’s Donald Trump Raj has increased the tension of companies.
AC will become expensive in May-June
According to Kamal Nandi, Head and Executive Vice President of Godrej Appliances, the weather has seen a mixed effect on the room air conditioner so far.
If we look at the South Area, it is raining in between. However, temperature has increased in North, East and West. About 23 percent of the market is South area. Where it is not fully heated yet. This can affect the total cell of the air conditioner. However, prices will remain the same in the month of April. But the effect will be seen in May and June.
Nandi said that Godrej Appliances expects a 50 percent growth in the AC cell in the third week of June. At the same time, Higher India now focus on AC with cooling capacity instead of tonnage. Higher India can increase the fruits of room air condition four to five percent from April 15.
