New Delhi [India], October 30 (Desk): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bansuri Swaraj on Wednesday lashed out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government for calling the monthly allowance given to employees as an “achievement.”
“How can Aam Aadmi Party call paying salaries an achievement when it is a monthly allowance given to the employees? It is their old habit that they do nothing but just publicise it. The government only does corruption,” Bansuri said.
The BJP MP further said that the AAP government was trying to influence the innocent employees by giving them their well-earned salary and calling it as their achievement. They are cheating the employees, Bansuri remarked.
“The government was trying to influence the innocent employees. If they had given some bonus or done something special, they should have called it an achievement. But giving monthly salary which is well-earned money of the employees and calling it achievement is cheating. They are cheating the employees,” Bansuri said.

Earlier in the day, the BJP MP hit out at former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the Ayushman Bharat row and said that the government was doing politics of malice.
Addressing a press conference, BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj said, “Yesterday, the PM expressed his sadness at the fact the senior citizens over 70 years of age of West Bengal and Delhi will not be able to get benefits of the Ayushman Bharat scheme as West Bengal and Delhi governments are doing politics of malice.”
Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK also launched a scathing attack on Kejriwal, accusing him of depriving lakhs of people of the scheme simply out of fear that it would expose the reality of his “falsely promoted health model.”
A political row has erupted between AAP and BJP after Narendra Modi criticised the Delhi and West Bengal governments for failing to implement the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme out of “political interests.”
Notably, Delhi and West Bengal are among the states where the Centre’s Ayushman Bharat Yojana is not implemented. (Desk)
