Gurugram’s Economic Offenses Branch (EOW) has arrested a senior lawyer. He has been accused of creating fake documents and taking crores of rupees for this work to help sell the property of an ashram. The police kept the lawyer in custody for two days. He was then produced in court, where he has been sent on two days remand.
Actually, Eow of Gurugram has arrested a senior advocate named Ramanand Yadav. He is accused that he has taken Rs 5.5 crore for preparing fake documents and for this work to help sell the properties of Aparna Ashram of the late Yoga Guru Dhirendra Brahmachari. In this case, the police arrested him on Friday and presented him in court.
Election was contested as president
However, lawyer Ramanand Yadav himself says that the allegations against him are false. He dismissed all the allegations. He said that he was given 5.5 crore fees. Recently, Ramanand Yadav contested for the post of President of Gurugram Bar Association in February. Ramanand Sagar could not win in this election.
Land sold for Rs 55 crore
Police say that according to the documents, there is an Aparna Ashram in Sector 30, which has land worth crores of rupees. This company was sold for four companies facing bankruptcy action in December 2020 for Rs 55 crore in December 2020, about four and a half years ago. Ramanand Yadav was given Rs 5.5 crore only to prepare fake documents of the ashram. The lawyer had forged in the cell deed.
5.5 crore rupees told legal fees
In February itself, advocate Ramanand Yadav was asked to appear with the case record of the case. When the lawyer was questioned in this case, he told 5.5 crore to his legal fees. He filed his bail plea in the district court, but his plea was dismissed by the court of Judge Sunil Kumar Dewan. Then he submitted a petition in the Haryana High Court, but he did not get relief from there either. Now he was arrested on Friday.
