What is the whole matter?
According to the information given by the police in this case, the accused deputy engineer first got acquainted with the victim through Instagram in July 2025. Their interactions gradually blossomed into a close relationship. After this, the accused pretended to be in love and trapped the victim by making false promises of marriage. On July 16, the accused called the victim out on the pretext of having coffee and took her for a ride in his luxury car. He then took her to different hotels in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city and had sexual relations with her against her will.
Threats to husband on the basis of WhatsApp chat
When the victim started pressurizing him to fulfill his promise of marriage, the accused showed his true colours. He threatened to send their private WhatsApp conversations to the victim’s husband. He repeatedly blackmailed the victim and warned that if she spoke to anyone about the affair, he would make her photos and videos viral on social media. This process of exploitation continued from July to October 2025.
Case registered in City Chowk Police Station
Fed up with the constant harassment and blackmailing of the accused, the victim finally gathered courage and reached City Chowk police station. Based on her complaint, the police have registered a case of rape against the deputy engineer.
