In Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district, on Friday, a woman accused her father-in-law of repeatedly sexually assaulting her and cut off her private parts with a blade. Police gave this information. A 60-year-old injured man was taken to the hospital and later referred to a major hospital in Budhana town of the district, Circle Officer (CO) of Police Gajendra Pal Singh said.
He said that the victim suffered serious injuries due to the woman’s attack this afternoon.
He said the accused woman (28) has been taken into custody and is being interrogated, while the police are investigating the circumstances of the incident. According to the police, the woman alleged that her father-in-law used to sexually assault her in the absence of her husband. Her husband works outside the district.
The woman was married seven years ago
Police said the woman was married seven years ago and the couple has two children, aged around five and six years. Police said that further legal action will be taken based on the investigation.

According to local people, Syeda has two small children. Her husband Shehzad supports the family by driving a rickshaw on rent in Haryana. Since her husband was away, Syeda lived at home with her two children and her father-in-law. Nazra, who lives in the neighbourhood, said that Syeda had complained several times earlier crying to the people of the locality that her father-in-law allegedly misbehaves and sexually harasses her. However, his words were not taken seriously.
