Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta made a big announcement of Rs 100 crore for every assembly, 45 new Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Right to Service Act and development works.
New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday said that the Delhi government has allocated Rs 100 crore for every assembly constituency. He assured that there will be no shortage of funds for development. CM Rekha Gupta had arrived in Trinagar Assembly constituency to inaugurate an Ayushman Arogya Mandir and launch several development projects.

Addressing a public meeting, the Chief Minister said that the government is committed to ensuring uniform development in all the assembly constituencies. He asked the elected representatives to continue identifying projects for work. In a joking manner he said,
Tilak Ram ji just told that the Chief Minister has given a budget of Rs 100 crore. But no one clapped! I will even withdraw last year’s funds, leave alone next year’s. Why are these people not clapping? I think the news of the work has not reached them yet.
‘100 crores in every assembly is not a small thing’, emphasis on construction of roads, drains and footpaths
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta further said,
It is not a small thing to spend Rs 100 crore in every assembly. Earlier, the fund of an MLA was only Rs 5 crore. Today roads, drains and footpaths are being built in every colony. I will not let there be shortage of funds, you just keep working.
He said that the BJP government has given priority to creating infrastructure in those areas which were not given attention for years.
Claims to end neglect of Trinagar, tells development the power of public vote
CM Rekha Gupta said,
This Trinagar assembly constituency was neglected and distressed for years. There were no drains, no work was done in the slums and the condition of the blocks and flats was also very bad. For the first time in Delhi, people feel that a government has been formed which is doing development work. This is the power of your one vote.
Ayushman Arogya Mandir inaugurated in Trinagar, facilities like dental, eye care and digital X-ray
The Chief Minister inaugurated an Ayushman Arogya Mandir, which has dental clinics, eye care facilities, digital X-ray and free check-ups. He said that this health center will work like a ‘mini-hospital’ and will provide easy health facilities to the local residents.
45 new Ayushman Arogya Mandir started in Delhi, total number increased to 415
Gupta also announced that 45 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are being inaugurated across Delhi through this programme, taking the total number of such facilities in the national capital to 415. He said, “And not just one or two, today through this program 45 such Arogya Mandirs are being inaugurated across Delhi. Earlier 370 Arogya Mandirs were built, and now there are a total of 415 Arogya Mandirs in Delhi.”
Government claims on waterlogging in Delhi, mentions Minto Bridge and ITO
Highlighting the improvements in the city’s civic infrastructure, the Chief Minister claimed that there was much less waterlogging in the city this monsoon compared to previous years. He said, “This year, the people of Delhi saw that the places which were submerged during the previous governments, were not waterlogged. Be it Minto Bridge or ITO, our government remained fully alert and worked continuously.”
Mohalla Clinic vs Arogya Mandir, Rekha Gupta told the difference between the two
Drawing comparisons with the previous AAP government, Gupta said the new Arogya Mandirs provide comprehensive health services unlike the earlier mohalla clinics. He said,
These are not like the mohalla clinics of the previous government. These Arogya Mandirs have all the facilities that a family needs. Now even a poor man can get good medical facilities near his home.
Cabinet approves Right to Service Act, officers who delay will be fined
The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to transparency and announced that the Cabinet has approved the proposed ‘Right to Service Act’, which will be introduced in the upcoming monsoon session of the Delhi Assembly. CM Gupta said,
We will bring ‘Right to Service Act’ in the monsoon session. Every government service will be provided on time, and if any officer delays the work or causes trouble to the public, that officer will have to pay the fine from his own pocket.
Government health services are being modernized with digital health records and ABHA ID.
He further said that the Delhi government has adopted a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and has digitalized the functioning of government hospitals through ABHA IDs and digital health records to improve public service delivery.
Development projects worth Rs 14.25 crore launched in Trinagar, road and drainage works will be expedited
During the programme, Gupta also inaugurated development works worth Rs 14.25 crore in Trinagar assembly constituency, including roads, drainage, beautification and civic infrastructure projects. He said work worth Rs 3.5 crore is underway on five roads and a drain in the NSP area, while additional projects have also been initiated for Samrat Enclave, community facilities and major PWD roads.
‘Funds will not stop’, Chief Minister gives great assurance regarding development works in Delhi
Reiterating the government’s commitment towards development, Gupta said funds will continue to be provided for public welfare projects across Delhi. He said, “The funds will not stop. Tilak Ram ji and I will together ensure that more development work is done for Trinagar and its residents.”
