KP Sharma Oli was born on 23 February 1952 in an ordinary farmer family in Tehrathum district of Nepal. His full name is Kharag Prasad Sharma Oli. At the age of just 4, he lost his mother and then grandmother raised her. After getting out of poverty and conflict, he made his identity as a sharp leader.

Oli’s political journey started at a very young age. At the age of just 14, he participated in the movement against the monarchy and panchayat system.
