CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated KDSG Super Specialty Hospital in Greater Noida. This modern hospital with 300 beds will provide better health services and will also provide employment to about 1000 people.
Greater Noida. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday inaugurated the KDSG Super Specialty Hospital in Greater Noida. On this occasion, he said that healthcare is not limited to treatment only, but trust and human behavior between doctor and patient is also equally important. He said that when a patient goes to the doctor, he goes with a lot of trust. For him, only money is not important, but the behavior of the doctor, his advice and trust in him are more important.
The Chief Minister said that the positive behavior of a doctor cures more than half of the patient’s disease. He gave the example of cricket to explain this and said that when Kapil Dev, as the captain of the Indian team, used to bowl on the field or lead the team, the Pakistan team would mentally lose half the match in advance. Similarly, if the disease is seen as Pakistan and the doctor is seen as Kapil Dev, then the patient wins half the battle just by seeing the doctor.
With faith in the doctor, medicine and prayers also work.
The Chief Minister said that when the patient has full faith in the doctor, his mental strength increases. This also strengthens the ability to fight disease. He said that when there is faith, medicine also works and prayers also work. The patient gets well soon and the doctor also gets blessings from the people. This increases both the reputation of the hospital and the respect of the doctor.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working to strengthen health services. Through the Ayushman Bharat Yojana of the Central Government, cashless treatment facility of up to Rs 5 lakh is being provided to poor and needy people without any discrimination. Lakhs of people have got relief from this scheme.
Government’s emphasis on affordable, accurate and reliable health services
In his address, the Chief Minister said that till the year 2014, only six AIIMS hospitals were functioning in the country. After the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today 23 AIIMS are functioning in the country. He said that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, more than 60 crore people of the country are getting health security. Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the leading state in this scheme. So far, more than 5 crore 60 lakh golden cards have been made in the state.
The Chief Minister said that the government wants that the definition of health service should be clear. Hospital services should be accurate, affordable and reliable. The patient should not be cheated at any level and every person can easily avail the benefits of these services.
Private sector participation is also necessary in health sector
The Chief Minister said that partnership of the private sector with the government is also very important to improve health services. With the cooperation of private hospitals, modern and better health services can be provided to a large population. He said that it is important for any developed and prosperous country that every citizen should get good health facilities. This is both the right of the citizen and the responsibility of the government.
The Chief Minister described the establishment of KDSG Super Specialty Hospital as an important step in this direction and congratulated its founders. He expressed confidence that this hospital will provide better health services not only to the people of Gautam Buddha Nagar but also to the entire NCR and surrounding districts.
Kapil Dev and Sunil Gupta established hospital
The Chief Minister said that this hospital has been established by former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev and industrialist Sunil Kumar Gupta. He has taken over the responsibility of running the hospital in collaboration with DY Patil Group, a reputed organization of Maharashtra. This organization has been working in the education and health sector for a long time and has done excellent work in Maharashtra.
Now the people of Gautam Buddha Nagar and NCR region will get the benefit of his experience. The Chief Minister said that if this group establishes a medical college in future, it will produce new doctors and medical professionals and provide better health facilities to the local people.
1000 people will get employment from 300 bed hospital
The Chief Minister said that this 300-bed modern super specialty hospital will not only provide treatment facilities but will also create new employment opportunities. He said that this hospital will provide employment to about 1000 people directly and indirectly. This will include doctors, nursing staff, paramedics, technicians, ward boys, sanitation workers, security personnel and other support staff.
He said that today Uttar Pradesh is moving forward rapidly on the path of development with positive thinking. There was a time when there was a situation of “one district-one mafia” in the state and the governments used to bow before the mafia. But now Uttar Pradesh is moving ahead with schemes like “One District-One Medical College”, “One District-One Product” and “One District-One Cuisine”.
Gautam Buddha Nagar becomes a big center of development
The Chief Minister said that today Gautam Buddha Nagar has become a major center of development of Uttar Pradesh. Noida International Airport is going to be opened here soon, which will be India’s largest airport. He said that about 55 percent of mobile manufacturing in the country is produced in this district. Apart from this, about 60 percent production of electronic components also takes place here.
Many big projects like Film City, Medical Device Park and Logistics Hub are being developed here. The Chief Minister said that at one time Uttar Pradesh was struggling for its identity, but today the same state is moving rapidly towards becoming the growth engine of India’s economy.
