Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 4’ has entered its first week at the box office. The action-thriller, which earlier recorded ,  has now collected less than half of what it earned on Sunday.

  • Friday: Rs 12 crore
  • Saturday: Rs 9.25 crore
  • Sunday: Rs 10 crore
  • Monday: Rs 4.25 crore
  • Total: Rs 35.50 crore

For comparison, ‘Baaghi 2’ collected around Rs 12.10 crore on its first Monday, while ‘Baaghi 3’ earned Rs 9.06 crore on Monday and followed it up with a strong Tuesday of Rs 14.05 crore. Even the first ‘Baaghi’ (2016) performed better, with a fourth-day collection of Rs 6.80 crore nett.

The first Monday collection is often seen as a litmus test for a film’s overall box office run. And while ‘Baaghi 4’ is benefitting from the recall value of the franchise and its , its ability to withstand competition from new releases this weekend remains uncertain.

The A Harsha-directorial has three more days to prove its mettle at the ticket window before three mid-budget films take over the screens.
