Dr. Pramod explains that bottle gourd is very beneficial for fatty liver. You can make it the base of your vegetables. Cook 150-200 grams bottle gourd well. Make a tasty vegetable by adding garlic, cumin or tomato and black pepper to it. If you want, you can make it by adding chana dal. Bottle gourd will not allow fat to increase in your liver because it prevents insulin from increasing.
Cruciferous Vegetables (Cabbage Class Vegetables)
Vegetables of cabbage category include mustard greens, cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli. Doctors advise that you can prepare and eat 75-100 grams of these vegetables 5 to 6 days a week. These vegetables help in activating the enzymes that detoxify the liver. It also reduces inflammation, which is very important to cure fatty liver.

The third vegetable which is very beneficial in fatty liver is beetroot. Doctors say that you have to use beetroot like a medicine. It should not be consumed more than 50 grams. Eating only 3 days a week is enough. Beetroot helps in removing the fat stored in the liver.
