New Delhi: India Kawasaki Motors is giving discounts on a few of its bikes, and the Versys-X 300 is part of the list. The company is offering a mix of cash benefits and free original accessories on this entry-level adventure motorcycle. The offer was available last month and has now been extended till the end of February.
The discount depends on the year of manufacture. Both MY25 and MY26 units are included, but the benefits are slightly different. Buyers can choose between a free centre stand or a set of hard panniers as part of the deal.

Kawasaki Versys X 300
For MY26-manufactured bikes, Kawasaki is offering a cash discount of Rs 20,000. With this, the price comes down to Rs 3.29 lakh. Along with the cash benefit, customers can pick either a centre stand or a pair of hard panniers at no extra cost.
For MY25 units, the cash discount is higher at Rs 30,000, which reduces the price to Rs 3.19 lakh. The same accessory options are available with these bikes as well. According to the company, depending on which accessory you select, the total savings can go up to Rs 46,000.
The panniers are hard plastic units and are waterproof. They offer 17 litres of storage on each side, taking the total capacity to 34 litres. They can also be locked using the bike’s ignition key.
Engine and features
Kawasaki Versys-X 300
The Versys-X 300 is powered by a 296cc twin-cylinder engine. It produces 40hp and 26Nm of torque. In terms of features, the bike is quite basic for its price range. It gets dual-channel ABS, but it cannot be switched off. There are no other electronic rider aids.
The bike uses wire-spoke wheels with tubed tyres. Because of this setup, the centre stand can be useful, especially in case of a puncture repair.
