Incomplete e-KYC
To prevent fraud, the government has made it mandatory to verify identity. If this is not completed through mobile OTP or face-authentication, the money goes on hold.
12 digit ‘Farmer ID’ in UP
If you are a resident of Uttar Pradesh, now only those who are registered on the ‘Kisan Registry’ portal will get the benefit. Without 12 digit Farmer ID, the next installment will be stopped.
DBT and bank account not linked
The amount of PM Kisan Yojana is sent through ‘Direct Benefit Transfer’ (DBT). For this, the woman’s bank account should be linked to her Aadhar card and NPCI mapping should be active on it.
Land Verification (Land Seeding)
The details of your farm i.e. Khasra-Khatauni should be linked to the digital profile. If the verification ‘No’ is visible there, the installment will get stuck.
Method to restart the stopped installment of PM Kisan
If due to some reason the money for the previous installment was not received, then there is no need to worry. As soon as you rectify your error, the pending amount will be added to the next installment. That means, Rs 2000 + Rs 2000 i.e. Rs 4000 will be directly transferred to the account.
Which problem needs to be rectified in PM Kisan?
Online e-KYC
- Visit the official website of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘e-KYC’ option on the right side.
- Enter Aadhaar number and submit the OTP received on mobile.
- You can also do this by scanning the face from PM Kisan mobile app.

Take the female beneficiary along to your bank branch and fill the ‘DBT/NPCI Mapping’ form and submit it there.

If ‘No’ is written in front of land seeding on the government portal, then meet the accountant of Halke with your Khatauni (land papers). They will make it ‘Yes’ online after verification.
Rules for new registration for PM Kisan
The benefit of this scheme is available only to those in whose name the agricultural land was transferred before February 1, 2019. If land is purchased after this, benefits are not available immediately. However, if the land has been inherited in the woman’s name after the death of her father or husband, she will be eligible for fresh registration.
