UPMSP 10th 12th Exam 2026: UP Board 2026 exam has started from today. Know the helpline number for class 10th and 12th students, live monitoring and security in 8033 examination centers.

UP Board Exam 2026 Live Monitoring: Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has started the UP Board 10th and 12th examinations from 18 February 2026. The exam is being conducted in two shifts from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Today, Class 10 Hindi paper will be taken in the morning shift, while Class 12 general Hindi paper will be taken in the afternoon shift.

How many students are appearing in UP Board exam this year?

This year a total of 53,37,778 students are appearing in the examination. There are 27,61,696 students of class 10th and 25,76,082 students of class 12th. The exam is being conducted at 8,033 centres. Of these, there are 596 government, 3,453 government-aided and 3,984 self-sponsored secondary schools.

UP Board’s preparation for safe and smooth examination

UPMSP has taken several measures to make the examination completely safe and fair. In which-

  • Supervision: The state level control room located in Lucknow will supervise the examination.
  • Reserve Set: Reserve paper sets will be kept in a secure double locked cupboard, and the answer sheets will have special logo and micro size marking of UPMSP.
  • Examination Center Staff: There will be a Center Administrator, an External Center Administrator and a Permanent Magistrate posted at each centre.
  • CCTV surveillance: Every classroom will have two CCTV cameras, voice recorder, router and live webcasting from high-speed internet.
  • Mobile Squads and Observers: 69 divisional and 440 district mobile squads are deployed. Besides, state level observers will also be present in 75 districts and 18 divisions.
  • Sensitive Centre: 18 districts have been declared sensitive. 222 examination centers have been kept in high sensitive and 683 sensitive category.
  • Helpline: Toll free numbers are available for students and parents at 18001806607 and 18001806608. There are also control centers at Prayagraj headquarters and regional offices in Varanasi, Meerut, Bareilly, Gorakhpur.
  • Filing a complaint: Complaints can also be lodged through social media handles.

UP Board 10th and 12th students and parents should keep these things in mind

  • Keep in mind the paper pattern and timing before the exam.
  • Reach the examination center on time and take all the necessary documents with you.
  • Try to take the exam in a calm and safe environment.
