BMW launches new X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro in India at Rs 74.50 lakh

New Delhi: BMW has launched a new version of its luxury SUV in India, called the BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro. The SUV is priced at Rs 74.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This petrol variant is being manufactured locally at BMW Group’s Chennai plant. Bookings are now open at authorised BMW dealerships across the country.

This new model sits above the existing X3 xDrive20 petrol and xDrive20d diesel versions. It comes with a more powerful engine and gets several sporty design elements along with additional comfort and technology features. BMW is offering it as a performance-oriented SUV that can still be used comfortably for daily city driving.

In terms of size, the SUV measures 4,755 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,865 mm. It is 1,920 mm wide and 1,660 mm tall. According to the company, it is the longest in its segment. The larger dimensions give it a strong road presence.

On the outside, the SUV gets a blacked-out kidney grille with illumination. It also features adaptive LED headlights with high-beam assist and cornering function. The M Aerodynamic package, 20-inch M alloy wheels and red M Sport brake calipers add a sportier look. Other exterior highlights include flush door handles, split LED tail-lamps and a black rear diffuser.

Under the bonnet, the X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The SUV can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. It also gets 48V mild-hybrid technology and adaptive suspension.

Interior and feature

Inside, the cabin has a clean and driver-focused layout. The main highlight is the BMW Curved Display, which combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen. The system runs on BMW Operating System 9 with QuickSelect. Other features include a head-up display, a 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and a panoramic glass sunroof. Safety features include Driving Assistant Plus, Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Parking Assistant Plus, eight airbags and Dynamic Stability Control.

The seats are finished in Veganza vegan leather and come with ventilation and lumbar support. The SUV also offers ambient lighting and an Interaction Bar. Connectivity features include BMW Digital Key Plus, Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and ConnectedDrive services.
