Mohsin Naqvi embarrassed: It is said that a real commander is the one who stands by him till the end in every situation. But Mohsin Naqvi left his team midway. The Pakistan Cricket Board chief was unhappy with the condition of his team against India at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo and had to leave the field. Mohsin Naqvi was present in the stadium in Colombo to watch the India-Pakistan match. But then news came that seeing Pakistan heading towards defeat, he left the field before the end of the match.

Pakistan’s defeat was not seen by Mohsin Naqvi

Hindustan Times, quoting Pakistani media, wrote that Mohsin Naqvi left the stadium even before Pakistan’s defeat. This is also mentioned in other media reports. Obviously, Mohsin Naqvi must have taken the step of leaving the stadium before the end of the match only because he was embarrassed by the condition of his team.

First did drama and now lost the match

The kind of atmosphere Mohsin Naqvi had created before the India-Pakistan match, the way he was seen boycotting the match against India and then left his stubbornness and got ready to play. After that whole drama, now Pakistan’s defeat is like an embarrassment for them. This is the reason why news of his leaving the stadium came out even before Pakistan’s defeat was sealed.

Mohsin Naqvi’s handshake did not work for the players

Pakistan team had to face defeat when just before the match against India, Mohsin Naqvi himself met the players and encouraged them. While playing first, India had set a target of 176 runs for Pakistan to win, in reply the Pakistani team could score only 114 runs and lost the match by 61 runs, which is its biggest defeat against India in terms of runs in the history of T20 World Cup.
