Bhopal. The next cabinet meeting of Madhya Pradesh government will be held on July 18 in Jagdishpur in Bhopal district. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill will be discussed prominently in this meeting. He said that this bill is an important step forward in taking forward the concept of ‘One Country-One Legislature-One Head’.
The Chief Minister said that the monsoon session of the Assembly will run from July 20 to July 24. During this period, a total of 14 bills will be presented in the House. He instructed all the ministers to complete the preparation of the bills related to their respective departments on time. The Chief Minister said these things before the start of the cabinet meeting in the ministry.
UCC Bill MP: Suggestions sought regarding Youth Year 2027 and Farmer Welfare Year
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the year 2027 will be celebrated as ‘Youth Year’. For this, suggestions are being invited from the people of the state so that innovations and activities related to youth can be included in the upcoming action plan. He also said that under the Farmer Welfare Year 2026, suggestions have been sought from the ministers for new schemes and innovations in the interest of farmers, so that the agriculture sector can be further strengthened.
E-Nagar Palika Platform: Received national honor for digital governance
The Chief Minister congratulated the Urban Housing and Development Department for receiving the Silver Award in the Cyber Security category under the National e-Governance Award 2026. He said that with the use of modern technology and the e-Municipality platform developed by the department, the functioning of urban administration has become simpler, transparent and citizen-centric than before. This achievement reflects the state government’s commitment towards digital good governance and better governance.
Indore Plantation Drive: 21 lakh tree plantation and water conservation campaign gets momentum
The Chief Minister said that on July 12, a campaign to plant 21 lakh saplings and establish 51 thousand rain water harvesting units was started in Indore. He said that the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign and this mega campaign of water, forest and environment conservation is becoming inspirational for the entire country. This campaign is running in Indore for the third consecutive year and the participation of the society in it is increasing every year.
Pithampur Industrial Growth: New factories will boost industry and employment
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Pithampur has been blessed with two big industrial projects. The fourth manufacturing unit of Kisan Irrigation and the new manufacturing plant of Liugong India Private Limited were inaugurated here. He said Kisan Irrigation is engaged in the field of modern pipe, drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, while LiuGong India is a leading manufacturer of heavy earth moving machines. The Chief Minister said that Pithampur has now become the ‘manufacturing gateway’ not only of Madhya Pradesh but of the entire country. The state government is making continuous efforts to promote industries, due to which the confidence of investors in the state has strengthened.
MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0: Path to 40 thousand crore investment and 34 thousand employment
The Chief Minister said that more than 200 digital content creators and influencers from Malwa-Nimar region participated in the ‘My Youth-My Pride Conclave’ organized in Indore on July 11. The government has also decided to launch a Digital Content Award to encourage digital creators. He said that the MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0 held in Bhopal on July 13 paved the way for investment of about Rs 40 thousand crores, which is likely to create more than 34 thousand employment opportunities.
During the conclave, 20 new industrial and technical units were inaugurated, while letters of intent for land allotment were handed over to 8 companies. Apart from this, special meetings were also organized with experts and industrialists related to GCC, data center and semiconductor sector. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is progressing rapidly in the field of semiconductor manufacturing.
