Actor Naslen K Gafoor, is winning appreciation for playing Sunny, in director Dominic Arun’s Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra. The film lead by Kalyani Priyadarshan has grossed over Rs 100 crore in a week since its release.
Following the success, the makers held a meet in Chennai, where the cast and crew expressed their gratitude for the film’s positive response.

At the press meet, Naslen expressed happiness over the film’s overwhelming reception. He said “I don’t know what to say, I am surprised, I don’t know what is happening, I don’t know where this is headed. In the morning I received a call from Suriya sir and Jyotika Mam. I am humbled by what I am getting in my life.” He went on to thank everyone for the appreciation.
A few days earlier, in a post shared by Naslen, he is seen posing with Lokah producer Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas. Dulquer Salmaan has commented on the picture with the message “Edaaaa!!! Superstar” which went viral on social media.

As per Sacnilk, on September 3,the film’s box office collection currently stood at Rs 38.95 crore in India, and as per trade experts, it has earned Rs 66 crore globally. This has made Kalyani Priyadarshan script history, as she has beat the record set for Keerthy Suresh for Mahanti (Rs 84 crore). Interestingly, Lokah has also beat all of Anushka Shetty’s standalone woman-oriented films Rudhrama Devi (Rs 82 crore), Arundhati (Rs 65 crore) and Bagamathie (Rs 64 crore).
