Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai transferred the 29th installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana to the accounts of women. The women of Balod said that the amount is helping in education, treatment and household expenses.

Under Chhattisgarh government’s ambitious Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai transferred the amount of the 29th installment of the scheme directly into the bank accounts of eligible women. As soon as the installment amount was received, an atmosphere of happiness was seen among thousands of women of Balod district. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister, calling this scheme an important step towards the economic empowerment of women.
Women are getting financial support from Mahtari Vandan Yojana
Women from different villages of Balod district said that the financial assistance received every month under the scheme is proving to be a big relief for their families. Women say that this amount is being used for children’s education, treatment, household expenses and small self-employment related works. This is not only fulfilling the financial needs of the family, but women’s self-confidence has also increased and they are feeling more self-reliant than before.
Help is being provided in medicines, children’s education and household expenses.
Mrs. Devaki Vishwakarma, a resident of village Baghmara, told that she has received the amount of the 29th installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. They use this amount for daily household expenses, children’s education, purchase of medicines and sewing and embroidery. Meanwhile, Mrs. Jamwanti Vishwakarma of village Jagannathpur said that this financial assistance received every month has become a strong support for her family and helps a lot in times of need. Similarly, Mrs. Radhika Sonwani of village Orma said that due to the amount received from the scheme, she is now able to deposit her children’s school fees on time. This has also reduced the financial pressure on the family.

The beneficiary women thanked Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai by showing the message of the amount received on their mobiles. Women say that Mahtari Vandan Yojana is not limited to financial assistance only, but it is also giving them an opportunity to become self-reliant.
