Smriti Mandhana: Under the captaincy of Smriti Mandhana, Royal Challengers Bangalore captured the WPL title for the second time. In the final played on 5 February, Mandhana and Company wrote the script of victory against Delhi Capitals with a record run chase. In this big victory of RCB, Smriti Mandhana led her team from the front with the bat. Chasing the target of 204 runs, she played an inning of 87 runs in 41 balls and became the player of the match in the final. After seeing RCB winning the WPL again and Smriti’s stormy performance, her mother reposted a meme on Instagram. After Smriti’s mother shared that meme, it became a topic of discussion. However, Smriti’s mother later deleted that post.

Talking about the WPL final match, under the captaincy of Smriti Mandhana, RCB defeated Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets. Playing first, Delhi Capitals scored 203 runs. In reply, RCB achieved the target of 204 runs by losing 4 wickets.
