Mumbai (Maharashtra) [भारत]July 11 (ANI): Comedy drama ‘Dhamaal 4’ took a good start at the box office on its release day. According to the makers, the film earned Rs 15.50 crore (India NBOC) on Friday.
Directed by Indra Kumar, ‘Dhamaal 4’ stars Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Upendra Limaye, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Esha Gupta among others.
Arshad and Javed spoke about the franchise
Ahead of the release, Javed Jaffrey and Arshad Warsi talked about returning to the iconic franchise. “Fortunately, the characters of Dhamaal really connected with the audience right from the first part. People loved Riteish’s character as well as Ashish, Javed and my performances. They enjoyed our interactions, our antics and the way our characters interact with each other. When the audience gets attached to the characters, you can keep bringing them back. That’s why we are on the fourth film now, and I don’t think it’s going to stop any time soon. (The Dhamaal franchise is not going to stop till the 4th part),” said Arshad.
“When we work, we don’t just work for the sake of work, we really enjoy the process. And when you really love your work, and it becomes your livelihood too, it reflects in the end result,” Javed adds. (ANI)
