Television actor Aly Goni , who is from Jammu and Kashmir , has spoken out against Pakistan ‘s recent ceasefire violations , expressing significant worry for his family and the people of his home state.
On May 10, India and Pakistan declared a mutual ceasefire. However, just hours after, reports started doing the rounds of drones being intercepted throughout Jammu and Kashmir, including Srinagar, and even in portions of Gujarat, causing a lot of outrage.
Aly took to his Twitter handle to react to the Ceasefire violation, he wrote, “Urdu mein likhke bhejo English mein samaj nahi aaya hoga yeh anpad Army ko.. #ceasefireviolations.” When he continuously faced backlash over his post, he tweeted, “People want to abuse me—please go on, I don’t care at all. I still want peace for my State, for my Family, for my country. That’s my opinion and it will not change. #ceasefire.”
