Political pieces have already been set for the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh after two years. BSP chief Mayawati is struggling with her political existence and the challenge of preserving her votes. SP President Akhilesh Yadav wants to cross his political naiya by taking the BSP’s shattered Dalit votebank. Be it a case of standing with Ramjilal or the statement of Indrajit Saroj, it is being seen from the perspective of SP’s Dalit vote. Mayawati looks restless from SP’s Dalit politics. In such a situation, Mayawati is also advising Muslims to stay away from SP along with Dalit society.
The politics has been heated by SP MP Ramjilal Suman about the statement on Rana Sanga. The Karni Sena has adopted an aggressive attitude against Ramjilal Suman and the people of Thakur community in Agra have protested and challenged directly. The SP has tried to give the color of Dalit vs. Thakur to the whole matter by standing in favor of Ramjilal. Akhilesh Yadav will reach Agra on April 19, where Ramjilal will visit Suman’s residence and give a political message to the Dalit society. Before Akhilesh’s visit to Agra, Mayawati has questioned the SP’s Dalit politics.
Dalits were advised to stay away from SP
BSP chief Mayawati tweeted on Thursday and targeted the SP. He said that it is known that like other parties, the SP is also giving forward their Dalit leaders to create statements that create an atmosphere of tension and violence, which are being alleged. This is a politics of grooming and selfishness. The SP can also go to any extent for the selfishness of the votes of Dalits. Along with Dalits, OBCs and Muslim society etc. should not come under any fierce deception of them, they should avoid the political tactics of this party.
Mayawati further said that instead of commenting on the history of others to the opportunistic Dalit leaders associated with such parties, they would be appropriate if they tell about the goodness and their struggle of the saints, gurus and great men of their society, due to which these people are made worth someone. In this way, Mayawati is advising the Dalit society to avoid getting under the influence of Dalit leaders of SP. At the same time, Muslims and OBCs are also appealing to stay away from SP.
Mayawati restless due to SP’s Dalit politics?
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Akhilesh managed to win 37 seats with his PDA stake. The SP has made a plan to contest 2027 elections from PDA i.e. backward, Dalit and minority politics. Akhilesh’s eye is to further strengthen PDA politics, for which he is eyeing Mayawati’s voters. Akhilesh Yadav is engaged in this mission in two ways. In SP, leaders of Dalit society are being given attention. Akhilesh now carry Dalit leaders along instead of keeping Yadav and Muslim leaders around him. In this episode, SP has introduced old BSP leader Daddu Prasad with him.
After the statement on Rana Sanga, Karni Sena attacked the house of SP’s Dalit MP Ramjilal Suman, while Akhilesh Yadav and his party lifted the sky in support of Suman. Against Ramjilal Suman, the Karni Sena united and shouted his strength in Agra and Akhilesh also made a plan to go to Agra and meet Ramjilal Suman. He can announce his strategy on the situation arising after the Karni Sena conference against Ramjilal Suman in Agra recently, because Agra has been considered as a big center of Dalit politics.
Most political parties have been starting Dalit politics from Agra, the way Akhilesh Yadav is constantly standing with Ramjilal Suman on this issue and is talking about being with Dalits, giving advice to those who speak against Dalits, it seems that Akhilesh Yadav can make a big announcement on the 19th of Agra. Ramjilal Suman has warned the Karni Sena that the grounds are ready, should be two or two hands.
SP’s Dalit MLA Indrajit Saroj gave a controversial statement about the temple and the deities. Akhilesh did not support Indrajit Saroj’s statement, but Ramjilal is standing firmly with Suman. In terms of Dalit votes, standing with SP Ramjilal believed it for himself. The entire focus of the SP is on adding Dalit vote bank, for which the BSP’s background leaders are mixing with them. On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, the SP gave a message to the Dalits by performing self-respecting ceremony. In such a situation, Mayawati is seeing the danger of spitting her Dalit votebank.
BSP’s decreasing political mass base
The BSP is going through the worst phase in its political history. BSP’s vote election rate election is decreasing. The BSP’s account did not open in 2024 and in 2022 the party won only one assembly seat. The BSP’s political graph has fallen to 9.39 percent. The SP is eyeing the BSP’s shattered Dalit vote bank and Akhilesh is trying every bet to connect it. Akhilesh Yadav has made up his mind to change his party’s DNA and wants to add seven Dalit vote banks of Yadav, backward, minority to prevent the BJP from applying the hat -trick of power.
On the pretext of Dalit political, Akhilesh Yadav wants to create an atmosphere that the time of BSP has passed. There is no use from being with BSP now. SP is the only option to stop BJP. Akhilesh has decided to connect leaders up to the district level of BSP under this scheme. There will be such programs in SP every ten fifteen days. Mayawati’s party leaders will be taken off from elephants and riding on SP’s bicycle. SP’s social engineering has triggered the BSP’s danger of deteriorating its equation, due to which Mayawati has been alerted.
Akhilesh’s PDA strategy attacks
Akhilesh Yadav’s focus is to strengthen his PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) formula even further. Mayawati understands this strategy of SP and she feels that if the Dalit vote is slipped, then in the 2027 elections, 2022 and 2024 will not be fed. Not only this, Chandrashekhar Azad is rapidly spreading his political legs among the Dalits, due to which the inclination of Dalit youth is also increasing rapidly. The Congress is also eyeing the vote bank of the Dalit community. The Congress has passed its resolutions regarding Dalit-Adivasi and Backward in the Ahmedabad session of Gujarat and decided to move forward on the agenda of social justice.
Mayawati is feeling uncomfortable due to the focus on the Dalit vote bank from SP to Congress. Mayawati knows that even if the Jatav vote has gone out of her hands from the SP’s aggressive politics, then in 2027 it will be difficult to preserve the political existence of the BSP. Mayawati has to come on the frontfoot to counter the SP’s aggressive politics. In view of this, the script of Akash Anand’s first return to the BSP has been written so that the young Dalits can be kept in mind. Now Mayawati herself is advising the Dalits as well as the OBCs and Muslims to stay away from SP. Not only this, the Dalit leaders of SP are also teaching political lessons.
