A new toll policy can be implemented in the country, in which the general public is being considered to give great relief. Recently, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said in a program that a new toll policy will be implemented in the next 15 days, so that people will not have to argue with toll workers on toll points and people will pass through the toll naps without any disruption.
If sources are to be believed, in the new toll policy, by paying the annual fees, all the toll points from one city to another can be easily crossed. The fee of Rs 3000 will be for private car drivers. At the same time, fees for big commercial vehicles and motorcycles have not been fixed yet. However, the two -wheeler will be kept in the free category as before.
If the policy is implemented, how much will be the benefit
This policy is beneficial for those who travel long distances. In such a situation, if you travel only 500 kilometers in a year by your four wheelers i.e. car, then once the movement is spent on the expressway from Rs 2100 to Rs 2400. In such a situation, if 500 km journey is four times in a year, then there will be benefit from 6000 rupees to 6500 in a year.
No lifetime proposal
Under the new toll policy, life time i.e. petrol, whose age is 15 years and a diesel car, which is 10 years, has not been decided, but if you want to pay any fees according to one year, then this option will also be kept. However, this decision has not yet been finalized.
What does NHAI say on the new toll policy?
According to sources in the National Highway Authority of India, nothing has been decided to implement this policy in any way. The policy is also far away from planning mode. In such a situation, how long will it be implemented or what will be available to the people in this policy, it is too early to say anything on it.
