Before Lord Rama, the divine statue of Saint Tulsidas ji, who brought his character to the people, will now give darshan to all the devotees in the Ram temple complex of Ayodhya. Today, the statue of Sant Tulsidas ji was duly unveiled at the eastern entrance of the passenger facility center of the Ram temple complex with the collective recitation of Hanuman Chalisa at dawn.
This is not only the unveiling of a statue, but the awakening of the consciousness that brought “Rama” to the public in the lingua. The statue unveiling program included Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of Temple Construction Committee, Trustee Anil and several members of T&T Company.
What did Champat Rai say?
On this occasion, Champat Rai said, “The construction of the Ram temple is now moving towards its perfection. On the auspicious occasion of Vaishakhi and Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, the Kalash has been installed on the main temple peak. Today the statue of Sant Tulsidas ji has been installed at the place from where every passenger will go to see Ramlala.”
This thing said about Tulsidas ji
Champat Rai further said, “Tulsidas ji is the saint in whose words Rama learned to speak. In whose fourteen devotion gained momentum. Tulsidas ji freed the Ram Katha from the bondage of Sanskrit and transported it to the people through Ramcharitmanas in Awadhi language. Today this temple is not only becoming the center of a faith, but it is also becoming a place of public education and cultural revival.”
He said that now every devotee who will come to Ayodhya to see Ramlala, he will first bow to Tulsidas ji. To the saint, who burnt ‘Ram Naam Mani Deep’ in a dark time and gave the whole India light. This permanent presence of Tulsidas ji makes the Ram temple complex seem more divine and more lively, where devotion, literature and culture breathe together.
