Regarding the General Budget 2026-27, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has described it as a strong roadmap towards a new and developed India. He said that in the world’s largest democracy, this budget has been presented keeping in mind the aspirations and expectations of 145 crore Indians. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his guidance and decisive leadership, the Chief Minister congratulated Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the first budget presented from Dutva Bhavan.
Budget of expectations of 145 crore people
According to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Budget 2026-27 is not just a document of figures, but a symbol of the hopes and aspirations of 145 crore countrymen. In this, a provision for capital expenditure of more than Rs 12 lakh crore has been made, which will play an important role in strengthening the infrastructure. Seven new rail corridors, modern infrastructure and connectivity related projects will further accelerate the country’s economic growth.

Special emphasis on health, AYUSH and women empowerment
CM Yogi said that concrete efforts have been made in the budget to strengthen the health sector and AYUSH. The proposal to construct girls’ hostels in every district is being considered a big step towards women’s education and security.

The Chief Minister praised the establishment of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) institutions in the budget and providing infrastructure equipped with modern facilities for the youth. He says that this budget, which links education, skills and employment opportunities, will give a strong foundation to the future of the youth and will create opportunities in every sector.

CM Yogi clarified that the biggest objective of Budget 2026-27 is to make the lives of common citizens easy and simple. Through comprehensive reforms, the system has been made more transparent and accessible, so that people can get direct benefits of government services.
Relief for middle class and taxpayers
The Chief Minister welcomed the decision to simplify the Income Tax Act and implement it from April. He said that with this more and more people will be able to easily file income tax returns and play their part in nation building. The middle class was expecting such reforms for a long time, which have been accomplished in this budget.

According to CM Yogi Adityanath, this budget has been prepared keeping in mind the youth, women, farmers, entrepreneurs and middle class, every section of the society.
