Four wheelers launches for this month: Key car launches lined up for February 2026

New Delhi: February 2026 looks busy with a mix of petrol, diesel, and electric vehicles across different price points. From affordable city EVs like the VF3 to premium options such as the Audi Q6 e-tron, buyers will have many choices depending on budget and needs. Official prices and final specifications will become clear closer to the launch dates.

Several new cars and electric SUVs are expected to reach the Indian market in February 2026. These include models from MG, Audi, Kia, Toyota, Nissan, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, and VinFast. Read below to know what the expected launch date is and what each vehicle is likely to offer.

The MG Majestor will be built on the Maxus D90 platform, which means it will be among the biggest SUVs in its segment. It is likely to use the same 2.0-litre diesel engines that are already available with the MG Gloster. The single-turbo version is expected to produce 158.7 bhp and 373.5 Nm, while the twin-turbo option should deliver 212.5 bhp and 478.5 Nm.

Both engines are expected to come with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Buyers may get a choice between rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. MG has not yet announced the official price, but the Majestor is likely to sit above the Gloster in the lineup. The starting price could be around Rs 38 lakh to Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant.

Audi Q6 e-tron – Expected February 15th

Audi will introduce the Q6 e-tron and the performance-focused SQ6 e-tron in India. Both versions use a 100 kWh battery pack (94.9 kWh usable). The regular Q6 e-tron claims a WLTP range of up to 625 km. It supports 270 kW DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in 21 minutes.

The standard model makes 382 bhp, which rises to 456 bhp with launch control. It can reach 0–100 kmph in 5.9 seconds, or 5.0 seconds with launch mode. The SQ6 e-tron is more powerful with 483 bhp, increasing to 510 bhp with launch control, and does 0–100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

Indian prices are not confirmed yet, but globally, the car sits between the Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron. This suggests an expected range of Rs 90 lakh to Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom).

Details of the new MG 4 EV battery have not been fully shared. It will use a lithium iron phosphate battery supplied by Rept Battero Energy. The motor is rated at 163 hp, and the top speed is said to be 160 kph. The earlier version of this car in some markets used a 51 kWh battery with a WLTP range of 350 km and a 170 HP, 250 Nm rear-mounted motor. Countries like the UK also received 64 kWh and 77 kWh versions and even a 435 HP AWD model with motors on both axles.

Kia Syros EV – Expected February 17th

Kia has not revealed full technical details of the Syros EV. It will be a front-wheel-drive SUV based on the K1 platform, the same as the Hyundai Inster EV. The Syros may use 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery packs similar to the Inster.

For reference, the Inster EV offers a 300 km WLTP range with the 42 kWh battery and 355 km with the 49 kWh unit. Most features from the petrol Syros are likely to continue, including dual 12.3-inch screens, a panoramic sunroof, reclining and ventilated second-row seats, Level 2 ADAS, and a 360-degree camera.

VinFast VF3, VF8, VF9 – Expected February 18th to 19th

The VinFast VF3 is aimed at city use. It gets a rear-mounted motor producing 43.5 PS and 110 Nm. Power comes from an 18.64 kWh battery with a claimed 215 km range (NEDC). The car can go from 0 to 50 km/h in 5.3 seconds.

With DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10 to 70 per cent in about 36 minutes. The VF3 is expected in Eco and Plus variants and could be priced between Rs 7.50 lakh and Rs 10.00 lakh (ex-showroom). VinFast also plans to launch the VF8 and VF9 around the same month.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella – Expected February 19th

Toyota’s new electric SUV will be available with 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery options. The smaller battery gives 106 kW and 189 Nm, while the larger one offers 128 kW and 189 Nm. Toyota claims a driving range of up to 543 km for the long-range version, making it one of the strongest options in this class. Both versions will support AC and DC fast charging.

Nissan Gravite – Expected February 25th

Nissan has not confirmed engine details yet, but the Gravite is expected to share parts with the Renault Triber. This means it could use a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 71 bhp and 96 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT.

There is also talk of the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol from the Renault Kiger, which makes around 100 bhp and 160 Nm. Pricing is not official, but it may be close to the Triber’s range of Rs 5.76 lakh to Rs 8.60 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Sierra EV – Expected February 26th

The Sierra EV will use Tata’s acti.ev platform and could be offered with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Exact battery sizes are not known, but two options are expected with a range of around 450 km to 550 km.

Tata is targeting roughly 500 km for the main variant, while higher trims may get dual-motor AWD. The expected price is Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it below the Harrier EV.

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara – Expected February 27th

The e-Vitara uses a lithium iron phosphate battery with an integrated e-axle system. The 49 kWh 2WD version offers 142 bhp and 189 Nm. The 61 kWh 2WD produces 172 bhp, while the 4WD model increases torque to 300 Nm.

The larger battery claims a 500 km range, while the 49 kWh version has 344 km WLTP. The ALLGRIP-e system adds Trail Mode for better control. Prices are expected to be between Rs 17 lakh and Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).
