2027 Honda Jazz Facelift Japan Launch Price JPY 1.8m (Rs 10.64 Lakh)

It has been around three years since Honda discontinued the Jazz in India. The company continued selling the third-generation Jazz (called Fit in some international markets) until 2023, despite the fourth-generation model having made its global debut back in 2019. Now in 2026, Honda Jazz / Fit celebrates 25 years since its original debut in 2001.

To mark this milestone, Honda has introduced a facelift for the B-segment hatchback to keep it looking fresh and up to date. The update primarily focuses on exterior styling, although the changes are not offered across the entire variant lineup. It is worth noting that this facelift is currently specific to markets such as Japan, where the Jazz / Fit continues to be on sale.

2027 Honda Jazz Facelift Debuts

From the outside, the base X continues as it was without any changes. Mid-spec Z trim, on the other hand, has been given some cosmetic updates as part of this 25th anniversary update. However, these are not new cosmetic updates, but more of a parts sharing from the top-spec RS trim, which had its unique aesthetics.

In that regard, 2027 Honda Jazz (Fit) Z trim now gets the same sporty front and rear bumpers with unique aesthetics from top-spec RS trim, finished in a matte Black shade. Wheels are the same as before. They’re 15-inches in size and are not shared with RS. Also not shared with RS is its sporty suspension.

This is as sportier as Z trim gets, because RS trim gets extra sporty bits to set itself apart. These include the larger RS spoiler, side skirts, lowered suspension for sportier drive and slammed looks and a larger tailpipe. On the inside, new bits include a three-spoke leather steering wheel, heated seats and acoustic front windshield.

Top-spec RS trim is now offered only with Hybrid e:HEV powertrain. There are very subtle changes with RS trim. These include a slightly different finish on its 16-inch sporty alloy wheels. Sporty body kit remains the same as before, which is a highlight of RS trim. Inside, RS gets black headliner, suede and leather upholstery materials, red stitching and other traits of a sporty offering.

RS and Crosstar Only Offered With e:HEV Powertrain

Just like the RS, the more off-road-y Crosstar trim also gets just the e:HEV Hybrid powertrain. Unlike WR-V sold in India, Honda Jazz Crosstar can be had with optional 4WD tech to match its off-road aesthetics, just like the standard Jazz. e:HEV Hybrid powertrains can be chosen across the trim lineup and boasts 121 bhp and 253 Nm combined system output with some pure electric range too.

In Japan, 2027 Honda Jazz (Fit) starts from JPY 1,806,200 (Rs 10.64 lakh, approx) and the maxed-out Crosstar e:HEV 4WD costs JPY 2,955,700 (Rs 17.4 lakh, approx).   has no plans to relaunch Jazz in India.
