However, Volkswagen Golf GTI will be sold through the company’s online sales channel. The sporty SUV will be sold as a fully imported model in India through a Complete Bilt Unit (CBU) route. The price of Volkswagen Tiguan R-line is expected to start from Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). It will compete with Jeep Compass, Hyundai Taxon and Citron C5 aercross.

Inside the cabin, Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line Revamped AC vent, a large 10.25-inch customizable digital cockpit instrument cluster, wireless apple carplay and 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android auto, Level 2 Adas, a head-up display, a head-up display (hud). Eight-speakers will get features like audio system and wireless charging. Volkswagen Tiguan R-line will have a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which will be connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch DSG automatic gearbox. This car will be AWD.

The SUV will have 6 different color options, including Persimon Red Metallic and Cipperino Green Metallic. Talking about special design elements, it will have a large radiator grill, R badge, sports bumper, different designed big 19-inch alloy wheels and connected LED taillights.
